ASKlabs works collaboratively with artists, scientists, and engineers to tell inspiring stories of creativity and innovation for public audiences. We help share their amazing stories of process and discovery by creating engaging digital content and programs for public audiences, from digital content to events and exhibitions. Our award-winning films have screened internationally on screens large and small. We've documented a Feminist Hackathon at the MIT Media Lab, Richard Serra's largest outdoor work to date, and the creation of the world's largest kinetic lightning machine. ART+SCIENCE PROGRAMS
ASKlabs specializes in public programming and community-building at the intersection of art, science, technology, and design. Events and exhibitions include the "Lightning Strikes!" adult programs event at Boston's Museum of Science (2012) and Kendall Square Biotech Art Night at the MIT List Museum. Additional event partners include Catalyst Conversations, Le Laboratoire, The Exploratorium, Hypersonic Engineering and Design, Lightning on Demand, Peabody Essex Museum, RISD Museum, and MIT (Edgerton Center, Media Lab, the Arts at MIT.)
TALKS AND PANELS
Alberta Chu has participated in public talks and panels including Nerdnite, Catalyst Conversations, and MIT's AAX for the Arts at MIT in conjunction with her films and other projects. Alberta's films have screened at film festivals, art museums, and science museums.
